Members should also help out with any fundraisers or volunteering we do if they can. The club will help the Somers Historical Society on many different projects.
Members may help on a large group projector find their own line of research. Hopefully, we will also be working with the Fashion Club, the French Club, and the Student Council.
Everyone is welcome to join and even if you cannot make every meeting we would love for you to help and volunteer. Hours can count toward NHS, college, or any other types of community service.
The Somers History Club has just begun this 2013-2014 school year and is part of an ongoing partnership between the Somers High School and the Somers Historical Society. It is also an unprecedented student effort to work together to discover more about Somers History.
The club meets every BLANK in INSERT ROOM and members are expected to come to all meetings. If you cannot make it to a meeting please email us at somershistoryclub@gmail.com to find out what you missed.
